Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Director)

The Talent Company is pleased to be partnering with an internationally recognized organization that empowers people to change the world, locally and globally, achieving transformative outcomes for themselves and others.  Currently experiencing a period of renewed growth and revitalization, our client is seeking an energetic senior Human Recourses business partner that will support the executive and leadership level.

Responsibilities:
  • Works to understand the organizations business and talent strategy and partners with leadership to execute on HR agenda programs;
  • Consults with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and various HR specialty areas as appropriate to address critical organizational talent gaps;
  • Enhances existing leadership reporting, KPI’s and communication to help provide a view on the “HR health” across the organization;
  • Analyzes HR service delivery, identifies and addresses gaps in process and works to increase capability through various change management initiatives;
  • Leverages an in-depth knowledge base of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborates closely with the CHRO on complex cases;
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions);
  • Works closely with senior management to increase employee engagement, build morale, and increase productivity and retention;
  • Provides guidance and input on business teams restructures, workforce planning and succession planning;
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
 
Requirements:
  • 7 + years of HR experience, CHRP or CHRL certification preferred;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong influencing, collaboration and persuasive skills at the leadership level;
  • Ability to understand key business drivers and translate them into actionable HR initiatives that provide an impact;
  • Experience with change management and HR transformational initiatives;
  • Excellent ability forge effective relationships across various HR specialty teams;
  • Must possess ability to manage multiple priorities within the business and HR teams;
  • Strong experience managing change and dealing with ambiguity;
  • Positive, energetic, enthusiastic and flexible;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple hiring deadlines;
  • Strong initiative, proactive manner able to work at the transactional and strategic level.
