Sales Compensation Analyst

The Talent Company is partnering with a long-standing client (and one of Canada’s Top Employers) to recruit a Sales Compensation Analyst. This highly visible role will be based out of Richmond Hill and will work cross functionally to help assess and enhance the effectiveness of sales compensation programs.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, the Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual cycles including base pay reviews, bonus calculations, merit and performance cycles
  • Calculating and communicating the results of various bonus programs
  • Supporting the redesign of sales compensation programs including making recommendations, modeling anticipated impacts and presenting your analysis
  • Crafting communications and tools that explain compensation programs
  • Partnering with HR to advise and make compensation recommendations that have talent and business implications
  • Participating in compensation surveys and benchmarking the competitiveness of sales compensation programs

Requirements:
To successfully step in to this role you offer:
  • Two or more years of compensation experience
  • An understanding of (and ideally experience with) sales compensation plans
  • Excellent analytical skills including data management, modelling and problem solving
  • Advanced Excel; experience with Access is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including being comfortable presenting to small groups
