The Talent Company is an HR solutions firm that works closely with our clients to FIND, KEEP, REWARD and TRANSITION talent. The Senior Recruiter is an integral member of our Recruitment (FIND) solutions team. Reporting to our Vice President, Recruitment Delivery you will be responsible for managing Recruitment projects/requisitions and fostering and growing relationships with our clients and candidate communities.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with business development and cross-functional team members to understand where client opportunities exist.
  • Take the lead from client outreach through to Recruitment requisition close.
  • Conduct client intake calls and visits to establish a deep understanding of client need, culture, fit, positional nuances and interview/communication protocol.
  • Establish a communication cadence with the client to aid in setting and managing expectations and follow-up.
  • Work closely with the Vice President to determine an appropriate go-to-market search strategy, timelines, communication plan and milestones to ensure client/requisition success.
  • Act as prime for all Recruitment activities that includes working closely with the Talent Researchers, conducting candidate outreach, pitching/selling candidates, establishing interest in the opportunity, pre-qualifying based on hiring criteria, conducting in-person interviews, coordinating interviews and closing candidates.
  • Act as an Advisor to our clients as it pertains to Recruitment. Provide valuable market insights, candidate guidance and any supporting information that will promote a value-added relationship.
  • Observe cross-practice opportunities and promote our additional solutions where appropriate. Partner with other solutions teams (KEEP, REWARD and TRANSITION) and introduce team members to clients as the need arises.
  • Support other team members and practice areas in the delivery of solutions and promotion of solutions within the market.
  • Participate in social media promotions, community engagement and content creation.
  • Document all candidate and client activity using our ATS (CATS.
  • Other duties and assignments as required.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Post-secondary education with a focus (ideal) in Human Resources, Sales and/or Marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience within Human Resources and/or Recruitment.
  • 2+ years of experience within Sales, Client Management and/or Consulting.
  • 2+ years of customer service and/or hospitality experience.
  • A passion within Human Resources combined with an interest in being part of a growing, entrepreneurial organization.
  • Focus, persistence and patience in partnering with clients to establish a win-win outcome.
  • The ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities at one time.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a constantly changing environment.
  • A natural curiosity in speaking with candidates, listening well in understanding nuances and determining fit based on criteria.
  • A desire to learn, grow and expand ones knowledge and experience base.
