The Talent Company is currently partnering with a publicly-listed Canadian organization who are undergoing transformation and change within their HR team. They are currently seeking a Manager of Compensation and Benefits to step into a newly redesigned role.
 
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of HR, the Manager of Compensation and Benefits is a stand-alone role that will be responsible for:
  • Managing a broad range of total rewards programs including: Executive, equity and broad-based compensation; Annual, STIP and LTIP bonuses; Retirement plans; Benefits; and, Recognition programs.
  • Collaborating with HR and business partners to design, implement, evaluate, promote and manage total rewards programs that are market competitive, cost effective and drive results.
  • Ensuring total rewards comply with relevant legislation including Pay Equity and best practices.
  • Conducting analysis such as market benchmarking, forecasting, budgeting, workforce planning, and HR analytics that provide insight and supports decision making.
  • Manages recognition programs including employee service award and values recognition program.
 
Requirements:
To successfully step into this role you offer:
  • At least 5 years of progressive total rewards experience
  • Broad total rewards expertise including executive and broad-based compensation, benefits and retirement programs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills
  • The ability to deal with ambiguity and change
