Our client, an international Food Services organization has partnered with The Talent Company to help recruit for a very exciting role – Innovation & Strategy Manager. Working closely with the leader within the Business Excellent group, this individual will work to identify market differentiators and anticipate, conceptualize and drive future client and organizational innovation.

  • Key accountability for driving innovation for the organization, encompassing tech, food and equipment.
  • Develops and presents strategies to ensure the organization leads point of difference from market competitive standpoint.
  • Play a key role in the roll out of annual events that aim to bring members and experts together around innovative concepts with a focus on growing the business.
  • Help to drive team innovation and organizational planning and activities that promote cross-collaborative solutions across the business.
  • Propose and present new value strategies for clients, with a focus on strengthening relations and retention for the organization.
  • Develop new retail and food concepts and partner with Marketing and Communications to drive client and media engagement.
  • Look for opportunities to leverage the brand value partners such Amazon, Google, Apple etc. to drive further growth and retention.
  • Develop partnerships such as innovation hubs incubator initiatives.

  • Postgraduate degree. Ideally a Masters degree in Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of work experience, with previous food services and/or retail experience. Consulting experience supporting complex, international organizations is considered an asset.
  • Proven strategic thinker with an eye to execution.
  • Strong business and research acumen with superior analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter, efficient, organized and able to produce high quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with an ability to work with and influence cross-divisional/functional teams
  • Strong presentation-building skills with an added ability to persuade, develop consensus and a follow-up plan.
