The Talent Company is pleased to be partnering with TAB, an information services consulting firm, to help them grow their team. We are currently recruiting an Inside Sales Consultant for their Information Solutions team.

About The Role:
This is a newly created role, intended to support TAB’s continued growth. The role supports the TAB consulting team, who work with corporate clients to help them manage email, online corporate files and intranets.
Initially this role has the following two primary duties before leading to billable client assignments:

1) Support the North American consulting team with client projects, which may include:
  • Industry research on document management solutions
  • Tracking team tasks and documenting team activities, status and project progress
  • Review software products through webinars and hands on evaluation
  • Researching speaking opportunities or conference marketing opportunities
  • Working with project managers
  • Maintaining the team schedule
 
2) Support the North American sales representatives, which may include:
  • Reading and reviewing RFPs for relevance
  • Editing and formatting presentations and proposals written by senior consultants
  • Attend sales meetings with the local Calgary reps or via WebEx for all North American reps
  • Providing the sales team with relevant documentation or templates from past projects
  • Administrative support duties like maintaining our cloud-based files, time sheets, and travel
 
Requirements:
To successfully step into this role, you will offer:
  • Experience in an inside sales, customer service and/or administrative role
  • A university degree, preferably in a related field (ie. business, information sciences, communications).
  • Professional and persuasive communication skills – both written and verbal. You must be comfortable giving presentations to small groups.
  • Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills. Experience in Sharepoint or Opentext is an asset.
  • The ability to accommodate some travel (5-10%). The sales teams and clients that you support are located throughout North America.
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach to getting results. You will be working cross-functionally with individuals from sales, delivery and consulting. As you grow in your role, you will begin to work directly with clients, either on-site or remotely.
Our client is looking for an early career professional who wants to have a positive impact on how the business operates and who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done. Training will be provided during the first three months though job shadowing, online resources and writing assignments as an introduction to the inside sales role.
