Purchasing Manager

Our client, a fast growing technology company is looking for a Purchasing Manager for their office in Markham. This role will require a candidate to have hustle, work with a dynamic team while being a self-starter.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Managing relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generating flow for new deals (leads)
  • Exploring new purchasing opportunities
  • Managing existing clients’ repeat purchases
  • Handle a portfolio of existing clients and following up on leads for new clients
  • Willingness to take on more clients in your portfolio as the company and your experience grows
 
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a merchandiser/buyer or account/relationship management, preferably in a technology environment
  • Experience with outbound sales is preferred
  • New product development experience is preferred
  • College/University degree/diploma is preferred
  • A strong sense of urgency, hustle, drive and focus
  • Desire to grow and complete tasks efficiently and effectively 
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Natural ability to build and manage relationships with clients
  • Extremely organized as you will be managing data/leads into a CRM (Infusionsoft experience preferred)
  • Passionate about technology and technologically savvy
