You will also work closely with the Canadian counterpart on aligning policies and procedures for both countries.
About The Role:
Based out of TAB Products location in Mayville, Wisconsin, this critical role will be the key HR contact and support for all of TAB’s US employees. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting and interpreting policies that reflect regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Fostering a healthy & safe environment through drafting policies and running campaigns/initiatives to ensure compliance and program engagement
  • Managing employee relations, including managing relationships, coordinating employee activities and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Recommending and coordinating training and development programs
  • Managing performance management activities
  • Managing total rewards, including leading compensation reviews, administering pension and benefit plans
  • Overseeing payroll, delivered by a Payroll Administrator who reports directly to this role
  • Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Partner with a Canadian counterpart to, wherever possible, align policies and procedures across countries.
  • Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned
To successfully step into this role, you will offer:
  • A solid record of delivering HR support and guidance (minimum 5 years of experience)
  • Broad HR expertise including strengths in Employee Relations, Health & Safety, Performance Management, Compensation Administration and HR Policy Development
  • A strong track record of balancing engagement programs (safety, performance etc) with administrative and reporting elements of the role
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to collaborate, engage leadership and employees and encourage employee participation
  • The ability to be autonomous, self sufficient and perform well independently while still proactively communicating and sharing successes with peers in other geographical areas.
  • College or University degree in Human Resources (courses completed including Employment Law and Safety Compliance are considered an asset)

Please note that you will be supporting a national client group located in Wisconsin, Illinois, California, Massachusetts, Texas and other US states. Some travel will be expected and is estimated to be roughly 5%-10%.
