Senior Talent Acquisition Partner & Project Lead

Our client, a fast growing company within the Fin-Tech space is looking for a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner & Project Lead for their office in Toronto. You will be tasked with increasing brand awareness, leading an ATS implementation and vendor management. You will also manage a full slate of reqs in all fields and levels, locally and globally.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Be a champion for Talent Acquisition initiatives including; building our employer brand, improving the overall recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers, streamlining internal process, implementing our sourcing strategy as well as building our ATS (applicant tracking system) and related metrics
  • Work with the People team to manage the workforce planning process and build the strategy around our recruitment plan and related efforts and timelines
  • Partner with hiring managers to establish talent and recruitment requirements by understanding organizational plans and objectives, having initial intake meetings with hiring managers to ensure a clear understanding of their team needs and reviewing job descriptions to ensure alignment
  • Drive the recruitment process while providing an efficient, high-touch experience for all prospective candidates throughout each stage of the recruitment cycle from application to offer negotiation and reference checks
  • Build talent pools and attract candidates by creatively conducting research and/or utilizing a multitude of resources and develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline
  • Screen and interview candidates assessing for technical knowledge and cultural fit
  • Coach Hiring Managers and interview teams on effective interview techniques and approaches
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure a positive experience for candidates as they move through the process
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Track all recruiting activities and provide timely communications to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the process
 
Requirements:
  • 5+ plus years of Staffing/Recruitment experience; strong understanding and ability to recruit global roles in all levels of the organization from entry level to sales and senior roles
  • 2+ years of proven experience in leading project initiatives specific to talent acquisition
  • 2+ years of global recruitment experience for sales, account management and office support roles
  • 2+ years of vendor management skills related to recruitment activities such as search firms and job boards; global experience preferred
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers, HR business partners and cross functional stakeholders to review and align on talent needs and job specifications
  • Established ability to develop and build relationships quickly and demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment towards the candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Competency and passion for researching and digging for information, and recognizing new techniques of sourcing potential candidates is vital
  • Previous experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools as well as mapping candidates from multiple sources
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as team-based project experience
  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes
  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office, Excel and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research and ATS systems
  • Have strong passion and experience in sourcing for passive, niche candidates
  • Passionate about learning the needs of the business
  • Ability to manage your time effectively to accomplish tasks and outcomes daily in a fast-paced environment
  • Post-Secondary education in Human Resources
