Legal Software Trainer

The Talent Company is pleased to be partnering with a legal software provider in the Downtown Core. They are looking for an Application/Software Trainer who will be responsible for teaching legal representatives how to use their software and provide ongoing customer support.
This person will visit client sites frequently to complete 1-on-1 and group training sessions, provide customer support, test new software and work with the sales team to conduct demos and lunch and learn presentations. They will also provide phone support, ensure that legal representatives are using the software optimally and travel to train individuals in other provinces as needed.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Ontario litigation and/or family law and willingness to research other jurisdictions as the software expands into different provinces; currently in AB/BC/QC.
  • Ability to speak French is an asset, but not a requirement.
  • Positive and upbeat attitude embracing a team philosophy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • A strong customer service mindset is essential.
  • Self-starter, quick learner, motivated, disciplined and focused.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, and tech-savvy.
  • Must be able to travel within Ontario (including overnight trips) and possibly to other provinces from time to time.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle or ability to rent a vehicle, with a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience as a software product trainer is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education is required.
  • Experience working in a litigation legal office as a law clerk/paralegal or even a lawyer is required.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
