The Talent Company are pleased to be partnering with a leading Canadian financial services organization to recruit a Senior Compensation Consultant for their Executive Compensation team.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Executive Compensation, the Senior Compensation Consultant will play a significant role in the delivery and administration of Executive compensation programs, including:
  • Providing end-to-end administrative, analytical and advisory support related to Executive compensation;
  • Managing annual cycles, including providing critical reports, analysis and ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Compiling presentations for Senior Leadership and the Board;
  • Supporting the global mobility program for Executives;
  • Assisting in the development and roll out of communication and change management initiatives; and,
  • Collaborating with other total rewards and HR professionals to integrate and align Executive Compensation programs and processes with related areas such as broad-based compensation, performance management, benefits and pensions, employee engagement, and talent.

Requirements:
To successfully step in to this role you will have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of compensation experience, including at least two years specializing in executive compensation
  • Strong expertise in compensation fundamentals and frameworks, regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical expertise including data interpretation, modeling and problem solving.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
  • A CHRL and/or CCP designation is an asset.
