The Talent Company are pleased to be partnering with a global technology company who are seeking a Compensation Manager for their Canadian total rewards team.

This is an individual contributor role, where you will be asked to apply your subject matter expertise towards designing, implementing and administering compensation programs that align rewards with performance and the organization’s objectives. This includes:
• Designing and administering a broad range of compensation programs for Canadian employees including base pay, STIP, LTIP and sales compensation.
• Supporting all aspects of compensation including design, governance, market research, data analysis, process enhancement, policy creation and application, program coordination and plan administration.
• Provide modeling and analysis for variable pay.
• Review and redesign compensation frameworks such as job levelling, salary ranges and job codes.
• Design and present dashboards on key metrics related to total rewards program effectiveness.
• Maintain a working knowledge of legislative policies as well as compensation best practices to develop compensation solutions that support business objectives.
• Partner with other total rewards team members to advance the total rewards offering including working on initiatives related to HR systems, benefits plans, disability and retirement programs.

To successfully step in to this role you will have:
• Minimum of 8 years of compensation experience, preferably within a global or matrixed organization.
• Strong expertise in compensation fundamentals and analytics.
• Experience designing and/or implementing compensation frameworks and plans.
• Expertise in sales compensation including design, administration and analysis.
• Excellent analytical expertise including data interpretation, modeling and problem solving.
• Advanced Excel.
• Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
